Love Teamworks! Started my pup here at 12 weeks old and now at 1.5 yrs old we’ve completed 5 group classes and have our CGC and TKI. Hoping to start dog sport training classes soon. We've also done daycare and boarding here with no concerns!
What a gem of a find! My boy, Brogan, was fine as a youngster, but along came COVID & I found myself with a 3 y.o. extremely reactive dog. I worked with him on my own, but without success. Enter TEAMWORKS! I enrolled in a leash reactive class based on Mike Wallace's recommendation after meeting Brogan (age 4 by this time). Mike's relaxed & knowledgeable guidance has been so helpful! He always took Brogan where he was & offered instruction fitting to improving & moving forward with our issues. We have a way to go, but I feel I have the tools to help my dog be a better pup. When Brogan is more comfortable around other dogs, I plan to enroll in other classes at Teamworks. Thank you, Mike, for getting us onto the right road (& introducing Brogan to one of his new favorite toys!).
My dog Ceasar was in their puppy class. Once I decided to put him in their advanced classes it became a waste of time. Sent his vaccine record over 3 times even though the vet sent them the record as well. Communication is never answered in time. I wasted valuable time. My Basenji will NOT be going there again!!!
Absolutely the kindest and most compassionate dog trainers and boarding facility we have ever used. Our pup loves these girls, and the owner is absolutely fantastic. We also have attended a good citizen training class for our pup. The trainer there is decent to me but absolutely is fantastic with our pups. Would highly recommend, as our fur baby has never been more well behaved than after spending a week in their train and board.
We loved our experience with our new puppy, Ava, at Teamworks! She took the puppy confidence class with Joe and Laura! We loved going each week to see Ava’s new friends and what new things she could learn. We will definitely enroll in futures classes!
Amazing dog training company. They use positive reinforcement to teach dogs. I've had 2 private lessons so far with each of my dogs. One was with Mike Wallace and the other was with Maria Esguarra. Both of them were super knowledgeable and listened to our needs. They give us tips on how to approach certain problems as well as homework to take home and continue learning and applying those techniques. My older 3 year old dog is starting the leash reactive class this week and I'm beyond excited to learn and see his results over time.
I can't say enough good things about the 30 day inboard training program! It is such a great value....and it WORKS! The trainers and staff are all very knowledgeable and treat your dog like their own. The 2 videos a day of training are very helpful in reintegrating your pup once they get home and the blog posts give you peace of mind.
Kodie was very difficult to walk with on a leash and needed more basic obedience and manners reinforcement. Now that he is home, he is doing AMAZING. We even had a surprise dog pop out of no where on one of our walks and he didn't even react. I knew exactly what to do thanks to the training videos. We are still working on solidifying our training goals and can't wait to sign up for the complimentary group that is included in the inboard training price.
Rosie and I attended the good canine citizen class. The trainers do a great job of coaching dog owners through the basics; I'm looking forward to seeing their work in more advanced courses like agility and scent training!
They use positive reinforcement, which means that they show you how to encourage good behavior and instruct your dog firmly without hitting/shouting/punishing.
Classes were socially distanced and all participants wore masks at all times. When possible, several activities were done outdoors to allow us to spread out (when the sun began to go down earlier this became difficult, so it may be a good idea to choose a class held earlier in the day).
